Application

The ERGO extraction arms are designed for dust and welding fume extraction, as well as for capturing other fine-grained dust. The pollutants are captured directly from the emission source, avoiding the expansion of pollutants in the room.

These arms are produced in a hanging or standing version. The extraction arm can work independently with a single fan or in
a group connected to the main collecting ductwork (as a system of local exhausts).

Structure

The extraction arm consists of following parts:

swivel
hood
two pipe segments integrated by frictional joints
gas springs to balance the weight of the subsequent segments
shut-o damper

To install the arm on the wall or supporting column – use the wall bracket type WB. The arms can also be fixed at the end of the rotational arm – type RO. Both the extraction arm as well as the rotational arm are adapted for attachment directly on a wall bracket (where the flange fastened fan type WP-E is fixed).

Accurately adjusted frictional joints working with the springs – assure a convenient arm manoeuvring and it is easy to change the arm position. The hood can be equipped with a halogen spot-light (to light up the work field) and a photo-resistor that is (through the ZE-ERGO control unit) starting the fan automatically at the moment of the welding-arc flash.

For the arms working in application with a hood without the halogen light and the photo-resistor – use motor switches, (chosen from the catalogue FANS – electrical accessories: WS, RS, ŁS).

Recommended flow capacities for following arm sizes: 1200 cfm for Dn = 8", 600 cfm for Dn = 6", 400 cfm for Dn = 5", 200 cfm for Dn = 4".
